Until today the answer was no. Now it is yes. Murmur is available for Windows 10 and 11 as a beta. If you write scripts, make videos or listen to articles on a PC, you can now turn text into natural speech there too, without paying per word and without uploading your work anywhere. ## What you can do on Windows - Paste a script and hear it read in a natural voice. - Clone a voice from a short recording, including your own. - Describe a voice in words and let Murmur create it. - Export your audio and use it in videos, podcasts or courses. - Keep everything on your own computer. Your scripts and recordings are never uploaded. ## How to get it Go to [murmurtts.com/windows](https://www.murmurtts.com/windows) on your PC and click the download button. The site sees that you are on Windows and gives you the Windows version. Open the file and follow the installer. Because this is an early beta, Windows may show a blue box saying it protected your PC. Click More info, then Run anyway. You only need to do this once. ## Same licence, same price Pro is $49 once, not a subscription, and there is a 7-day refund policy. Your licence key works on Windows exactly like it does on a Mac: one key for one computer. If you want Murmur on more than one computer, you can buy a key for each, or get a team licence. ## What is not in the Windows beta yet The Windows build is earlier than the Mac app, so a few features are missing. It has a single-script composer, not the Mac app's multi-speaker projects or timeline. It does not have the batch queue, community voice browsing, CLI or MCP automation, Jamf or MDM deployment, automatic updates, or M4A export. It exports WAV only. If you need those Mac features today, use the Mac app. If you mainly need local text to speech, voice cloning, Voice Design, and WAV export on a PC, the Windows beta covers that workflow. ## It is a beta, so tell us what you think We are still polishing the Windows version.
