**Quick verdict:** Speechify is a reading app. It turns documents, articles, and web pages into audio you listen to across devices, and it does that better than general-purpose voice tools. It is not built to produce and export finished voice assets for video, audiobooks, or clients. If that is your job, a production tool is the right category, and on a Mac the local option is Murmur.

## What Speechify is good at
