How the link works
Once you are approved your ref name goes live. Add it to any murmurtts.com page:

- When someone opens your link, the click shows up on your dashboard and their browser remembers you for 30 days.
- If they buy on the website, or download the free app and upgrade inside it on the same Mac, the sale is credited to you.
- If they open another affiliate's link before buying, that newer link usually gets the sale. Normal visits do not replace yours.
You can also use ?via=yourname. Any page works, for example /tools/text-to-speech?ref=yourname.

FAQ
Who can join?
Anyone who writes, films or teaches for people who make audio or video: YouTubers, newsletter writers, course creators, podcasters, tool directories and bloggers. You do not need a big audience, just a real one.
What does not count?
Paid search ads on the Murmur name, coupon and deal sites that only list codes, buying through your own link, and spam. Sales from those are not paid.
Do I need to disclose the link?
Yes. Say clearly that you earn a commission, for example "affiliate link" next to the link or #ad in a video description. This is the law in many countries, and it keeps your audience's trust.
What about refunds?
Murmur has a 7-day refund window. A refunded sale is not paid, which is why payouts wait until that window has passed.
Can I see my numbers?
Yes. Once approved you get a private dashboard with your clicks, downloads, sales, balance and payouts. Lost the link? Enter your email on the dashboard page and we send a new one.
What if they download the free app first?
That still counts. If they download Murmur from your link and buy inside the app on that Mac within 30 days, the sale is yours.
