Use croissant in context

Cafe menus and bakery ads use croissant in nearly every breakfast scene. CMUdict lists a form that opens with "kwah", closer to the French, and an anglicized one that opens with "kruh". Both put the weight on the second syllable and sound the final T, unlike a fully French delivery.

  1. He tore the croissant in half and dipped it in his coffee.
  2. The almond croissant sold out before nine.
