Use almond in context

Recipes, grocery ads and product labels mention almond constantly, from milk to flour to butter. The CMU entry drops the l and uses an "ah" vowel. Merriam-Webster also lists forms with a sounded l, which this dictionary does not include, so treat the silent-l form as one accepted option rather than the only one.

  1. Stir the almond flour into the dry ingredients.
  2. He prefers almond milk in his coffee.
