Use finance in context

Business podcasts, bank ads and explainer videos use finance constantly, both as a noun and a verb. CMUdict lists two forms with stress on the second syllable and a reduced first vowel, plus one with stress on "FY". Choosing one, especially across a long series, keeps the delivery steady.

  1. She moved from marketing into finance last year.
  2. The company plans to finance the expansion with savings.
