Use simultaneous in context

Simultaneous describes events that happen at the same time. Technical demonstrations, music lessons, and accounts of coordinated actions may depend on that timing. Narration should state which events coincide and avoid suggesting a sequence when the intended meaning is overlap, especially if a listener must reproduce the procedure.

  1. The experiment requires simultaneous measurements at both ends of the tube.
  2. The conductor asked for a simultaneous entrance from the two sections.
